Care that fits
your actual life

Every service is designed around one goal: getting you to a place where you think clearly, feel stable, and function better day to day.

01

Psychiatric Evaluation

A thorough, unhurried evaluation of your symptoms, history, and goals. Not a rushed intake—a genuine starting point designed to get your treatment right from day one.

02

Medication Management

Your treatment plan evolves with you. We track what’s working, what isn’t, and make thoughtful adjustments—not trial-and-error prescribing, but a clear, intentional plan.

03

Patient-Centered Care

Customized treatment plans focused on your goals, preferences, and lifestyle. It’s not a plan if it doesn’t work for you—we don’t settle for “good enough.”

Dr. Jess Garnica,
DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC

I’m a psychiatric nurse practitioner with experience across inpatient, outpatient, and community-based settings, where I’ve worked with a wide range of patients navigating life’s challenges.

More than anything, my work has shown me that a lot of people struggle in private. Many find me after trying to push through on their own—but there’s no award for living in survival mode.

My approach is thoughtful and intentional. I don’t rush evaluations or rely on trial-and-error prescribing without a clear plan. We take the time to understand what’s actually going on—your patterns, your history, what’s worked, what hasn’t—and build a treatment plan that actually makes sense for you.

The goal isn’t just symptom relief—it’s helping you feel more clear, more stable, and better able to function in your day-to-day life. If something isn’t working, we adjust. We don’t settle for “good enough.”

A Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is an advanced practice registered nurse with specialized training in psychiatric care, including diagnosing conditions and prescribing medication. In many states—including those I’m licensed in—PMHNPs practice independently and provide the same core services as psychiatrists, often with shorter wait times and more availability.
No referral needed. You can book directly through this site. If you’re coming from a primary care provider and have prior records to share, that’s helpful—but not required to get started.
Initial evaluations are 60 minutes. This isn’t a rushed 15-minute intake. We take the time to actually understand your history, your patterns, and what you’re hoping to get out of treatment before making any decisions.
Yes, when clinically appropriate and within state regulations. Medications like stimulants for ADHD can be part of a treatment plan. We discuss all options together, and nothing gets prescribed without a clear rationale and your understanding.
That’s a completely valid place to start. Medication is one tool—not the only one. We’ll talk through what’s going on, explore your options, and make a plan together. You’ll never be pushed toward anything you’re not comfortable with.
Research consistently shows that telehealth psychiatric care is just as effective as in-person care for most conditions. Many patients actually find it easier to be open and honest from the comfort of their own environment—and the convenience means fewer missed appointments.
